Christopher Yip is an award-winning filmmaker based in Toronto whose works examine faith, sexuality, and love through a distinct diasporic lens. His series Streams Flow From a River premiered at the Cannes International Series Festival and won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction. His short film FISH BOY had its World Premiere at the BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival and was 1 of 8 projects chosen for the Frameline Completion Fund.
Christopher participated in the Directors Guild of Canada’s inaugural National Directors Division Directors Mentorship Program for 2024-2025 and is an alumnus of the Warner Bros. Discovery Access x Canadian Academy Director’s Program. He is represented by Jennifer Irons at META Talent Agency.
