Christopher Yip is a queer Chinese Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto whose works examine faith, sexuality, and love through a distinct diasporic lens. He is a Canadian Screen Award winner and a participant of the Warner Bros. Discovery Access x Canadian Academy Director’s Program for 2023-2024.

His series Streams Flow From a River, produced by Fae Pictures and EST Studios, premiered at the Cannes International Series Festival and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV in Canada. His short film FISH BOY had its World Premiere at the BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival, was 1 of 8 projects selected for the Frameline Completion Fund, and is continuing its international festival run. Most recently, he was selected for the Reykjavik International Film Festival’s Talent Lab to pitch his first feature film, All God’s Children.
