Christopher Yip is an award-winning filmmaker based in Toronto whose works examine faith, sexuality, and love through a distinct diasporic lens. His series Streams Flow From a River, produced by Fae Pictures and EST Studios, premiered at the Cannes International Series Festival and won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction, Web Program or Series. His short film FISH BOY had its World Premiere at the BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival and was 1 of 8 projects chosen for the Frameline Completion Fund.
Christopher is an alumnus of the Warner Bros. Discovery Access x Canadian Academy Director’s Program and a participant of the Directors Guild of Canada’s inaugural National Directors Division Directors Mentorship Program for 2024-2025. He is represented by Jennifer Irons at META Talent Agency.
